The largest of the Greek islands is the last European frontier to Africa; Hania at the north-west, Rethimno, Heraclion and Agios Nikolaos at the north-east part, are the four regions that make up this huge island. The ruins of the Minoan civilization, on which so many books and studies have been written, may be an asset to what some people claim: Crete is the mother of History.

After breakfast, our friendly staff will transfer you to Athens Airport for your flight to Heraclion-Crete. Upon your arrival, meet assistance and transfer to your hotel. Dinner & Overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to Airport for your flight to Athens and connect with your flight home.

Wednesday 25 June '97
After breakfast, depart for your 4 day bus classical tour. Drive along the coastal road to the Corinthian Canal, visit Mycenae and proceed to the town of Nafplion. After lunch, you will visit the famous Theatre of Epidaurus. Overnight in Nafplion.

Thursday 26 June '97
Morning drive through Central Peloponnese to Olympia, the place where the ancient Olympic Games were held. You will visit the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus and the Museum. Lunch and overnight in Olympia.

Friday 27 June '97
By means of car-ferry, you enter the Greek mainland. Then via Nafpactos and Eratini (lunch) arrive in Delphi and visit the Castalia Spring. Overnight in Delphi.

Saturday 28 June '97
Morning visit of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Museum. After lunch, depart for the village of Arahova and visit the Monastery of Hosios Lukas. Early evening arrival in Athens, and transfer to your hotel.

Sunday 29 June '97
After breakfast, transfer to Athens Airport for your flight home.

After breakfast, depart for your 3 day bus tour. Through the spectacular sites of Viotia, Thiva, Levadia and Arahova you will arrive in Delphi. Visit of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Museum.

Thursday 26 June '97
Morning at leisure. Drive along Central Greece and arrive in Larissa for dinner and overnight.

Friday 27 June '97
Visit of Meteora. The breathtaking view of the ageless monasteries carved in the rocks will stay in your memories forever. Early evening return to Athens, and transfer to your hotel in Athens and Overnight

Saturday 28 June '97
After breakfast, transfer to the Athens airport for your flight home
